Continuously soaked in water to maximise their rich starch content, the traditional techniques used to create these dense Ishimaru sanuki udon create a thick and deliciously chewy noodle. Thoroughly kneaded into a firm yet fluffy texture, these noodles become superbly absorbent once cooked and make savouring rich noodle soups and sauces all the more satisfying. Square-cut so they size up even thicker than regular noodles, add a heartier bite to creamy curry udon and succulent yakiudon stir fries.
